Tree of Life Meditation
Let us start by closing our eyes, quieting our minds and taking three deep breaths 1 2 3. Continue breathing deeply as we let go of our bodies.
As we begin we slowly work our way up from our toes and feet letting them stretch and relax.
We come up to our ankles and chaffs and let the muscles lose any tension.
Next our knees and thigh’s begin to relax.
Let your hips and stomach sink towards the ground.
As we work our way up let your shoulders slump and your arms fall, resting your hands against mother earth.
Let your neck be unstrained by the weight of your head as it falls comfortably downwards.
Let your ears take in your surroundings of the night’s forest creatures.
Listen and Breathe…
We are more than just our bodies. We are vibrant energy radiating to other energies creating an atmosphere with our vibrations.
Our bodies are simply the creation of our thoughts. It is our home and shelter for our souls.
Let us free our self’s for a moment from our homes and allow our souls to soar and transform into any energy of our desire.
Maybe your soul is made up of pure color or maybe you take on the shape of the coy fish swimming nearby. Butterflies, dragonflies, fireflies, the possibilities are endless.
See your soul lifting and emerging into something beautiful.
May you be a small or large creature visualize your soul flying or galloping through the open field of grass with the orange moon illuminating your way. Each blade of grass looks unique with its own personal energy radiating from it.
You head towards the forest border as the ancient energy of the trees draw you inward.
It’s darker within their embrace. The energy swirling around them you notice is heavier with time. They’ve withstood storms and witnessed prey and hunt. They’ve served as homes for creatures of all kinds and shelters and food for others.
The trees have lived long enough to know the secrets of all creatures present and not.
As you go deeper into the woods you allow another energy to lead you.
The night air is warm against your soul as the night breeze keeps you cool.
You are unafraid and feel safe surrounded by life energy.
The deeper you go into the forest the stronger your erg is to soar or run forward.
Even though it is night the woods are bright with color. Yellow sparkles glisten from an owl’s hole. Purple mist fogs out from the bushes. Green energy is dominating from the trees. Each creature presents a variety of colors to gaze and aw about.
After some time you begin to notice you are fallowing a path. The earth’s dirt is exposed as the trees and bushes have been pushed off to the sides. The trail its self seems to be illuminated.
You feel you are not the first to be drawn here.
You slow down taking into account your heavy breathing. You begin to feel anxious to see what awaits you through these last few trees, but you have an understanding that whatever it is, is not to be disrespected.
Taking a deep breath you pass by the final tree into a clearing where a single tree stands three times as tall and wide as all the others. The energy flows off of it in waves of the colors of the rainbow.
Without words you know this is the tree of life, the tree of knowledge.
Slowly you make your way under its enormous branches feeling the trees roots pulsating through the earth.
The air here seems to have a feeling, a smell, and a sound of its very own. It is like nothing you have ever experienced before.
As respectfully as you can you place your self before the tree. The moon’s light is blocked out by its growth. You are encased within the light of the trees life energy colors.
For a moment all is quiet and it is as if the universe waits to see what emerges.
“What do you wish to know young soul?” You feel the trees words within you.
You ponder for a moment before speaking. Only when you ask you notice again there are no words, but instead color and feeling.
(Moment of silence)
The trees soul then answers you back in the same way.
(Moment of silence)
You stay there reflecting on the knowledge the tree has just offered you. When you are ready you then lift yourself and nod and thank the tree for its wisdom.
(Moment of silence)
The tree then bows its branches making its leaves dance and sing in the movement. The trees colors are so bright then when you turn to leave back towards the forest the creatures of the night and the woods seem almost dark.
Slowly you turn from the tree of knowledge and life and travel back on the path of which you came.
The forest seems quieter now the moon has sunk and the sun begins to cast light ever so slightly over the earth’s horizon.
You make hast through the brush rushing back towards your body trying to beat the sunrise.
When you arrive to you resting home you take one last look around at the colors of energies that are so clear to see through your soul’s eyes and wish that you could see this clearly through your body’s eyes.
Again you transform back into pure energy and lay yourself back within your soul’s natural home.
Soon you feel settled and connected to your body.
You wiggle your toes and fingers.
You feel the weight of your hips and head.
You feel you heart pulse and your eyelids open.
